You know Dawna as Spoolriversewing on Instagram. She has been featured on the grid of SewHouse7. Dawna tells her story about starting her blog in 2018 because she felt older sewists were not represented on the internet. Tracy Davis or Sewing4therapy on Instagram is a favourite SewOver50 sewist that inspires great fitting clothes making and fuels the sewing engine of her fellow sewists. You'll hear how Tracy knows the value of a hobby/practice that balances the stressors of her profession. Her children are learning that Mom knows, when it comes to fashion. Jeanette Hayes or netty.hayes.sews on Instagram is New Zealand sewist and she started sewing again 4 years ago. She's a SewOver50 follower and she's also recently made her Instagram account public. Jeanette is inspired by her fellow sewists and she felt comfortable making her account public. She has collaborated with Chalk & Notch, Friday Pattern Company, True Bias, Minerva in the UK and Fabric Godmother. Jeanette uses The Fold Line for her sewing pattern research. Jeanette is SewOver50 sewist that pattern companies have loved including her in their social media.
